When and how to review your financial aid package.

访问 FAFSA变化 for delays affected by the late 2024-2025 FAFSA release.
- 新生: Early March before the aid year begins.
- 新的转移: Late April before the aid year begins.
- 所有其他学生: For the upcoming aid year, shortly after the conclusion of spring semester for the current aid year.
Once the time frames specified above have passed, all students should expect a 经济援助计划 notification one to two weeks after completing all requirements.

Review Your 经济援助计划

- You will see your current financial aid awards and can review and confirm/accept the terms and conditions for each award
a. You may accept or decline all or a portion of any subsidized or unsubsidized loans offered.
b. Note: if offered subsidized loans, they must be accepted in full before you can accept any portion of the unsubsidized loan. - Select 确认.
提示: If you are a first-time loan borrower at UWF, please review your outstanding requirements to ensure you have completed 入学咨询 和一个 主本票. You will locate any pending requirements in the 首页 section of your financial aid app. Pending items WILL prevent our office from releasing any of your financial aid.

MyUWF: MyUWF features information and services you need to be an active member of the UWF community.
办理: Transact is an app in MyUWF that allows students and parents to see the account balance, 费用支付, 账户活动, 收据的历史, payment plans and tax forms.
Transact-Parent Portal: The best way to access balance information about your student's account is to create a Parent Portal on CashNet.
付款计划: 学生账户 & Cashier's Office provides eligible students with an alternative to paying the full amount of tuition, housing and meal plans at the beginning of each term. UWF offers a payment plan with up to five installments for the fall and spring semesters.
实习信息: Please ensure your residency is complete to view the most accurate tuition assessment.
Estimated Direct 成本计算器: This calculator will help you calculate your estimated direct costs. Your costs may change based on how many credit hours you take, your meal plan selection and whether you live on campus.
间接成本: These are estimated costs associated with your expected enrollment that are not directly billed by UWF. Costs can include books, supplies, transportation and personal expenses.

Additional Loan Options: In addition to Federal Direct loans, loan options include the Parent PLUS loan, which allows a parent to borrow on behalf of their dependent, 本科的孩子, 私人贷款. A PLUS loan cannot exceed the student's cost of attendance and other aid awarded. Parents may apply for the Parent PLUS loan 在这里. Private loans require a credit check 和一个re obtained through private lenders, and the 金融援助 office only certifies your enrollment and cost of education. Be aware t在这里 is a waiting period between the time your loan is certified and when funds are released to your account.
